Grove, Okla. --  A grand opening will be held all day on Saturday, March 5 to the new Mill Creek Carpet and Tile Discount Center located at 2136 Highway 59 North, in Grove, Oklahoma.    Mill Creek Carpet and Tile has been serving the Grove area for over 11 years.  While formally located on 3rd Street in downtown Grove, many customers mentioned that they were looking for flooring items they could buy and take home the same day.  This potential problem was solved by moving into a new facility to Highway 59 North, in the former location of Wilson’s Furniture.  Mill Creek Carpet and Tile Discount Center is now able to serve all types of retail customers, as well as builders, with considerable ease.

The new Highway 59 location features a large showroom displaying a vast array of flooring products including carpet, tile, natural stone, hard wood, laminate, and area rugs.  Also contained in the same building is a warehouse that features a large in-stock inventory of all types of flooring at a discounted price.

Mandy Heyburn, the manager for the Mill Creek Carpet and Tile Discount Center, says she is excited about serving the Grand Lake area from this new location.

“I am very glad to be in this new building and excited about the increased selection that we can offer our customers.  Our new showroom puts us at the very top for selection and value, and our warehouse has some of the best prices anywhere in the state.”

Doug Storer, one of the flooring consultants at the new facility, thinks this is one of the nicest flooring stores he has seen in his 20 years in the flooring business.

“This is the finest facilities that I have ever been associated with, much less seen.  We are really proud of what’s been done here, and are ready to serve the Grand Lake community with all their flooring needs.”

Mill Creek Carpet and Tile is owned by Mill Creek, a chain with six lumberyards, a custom mill, architectural woodworking plant, a wholesale operation, a professional tool and fastener retail location, a commercial flooring locations and twelve retail carpet and tile stores.  The company, headquartered in Tulsa, has locations in eight Oklahoma cities.  The company was founded in 1934, and today is owned by the Jim Dunn family of Tulsa and employs over 400 full time employees.
